As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. You will play a crucial role in preventing theft, vandalism, and other security breaches. If you have a background in law enforcement or security, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to ensure the safety and security of the premises
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify potential security threats
- Respond to emergencies and incidents, such as accidents or medical emergencies, and provide assistance as needed
- Enforce property rules, regulations, and policies to maintain order and prevent unauthorized access
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify any security vulnerabilities or hazards
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of daily activities
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
Position Requirements Are:
- Observe, detect, report, and respond to all suspected or apparent security violations
- Monitor and observe building occupants and visitors
- Questioning persons whose activities arouse suspicion
- Answering questions and providing directions to visitors and facility tenants
- Conducting patrols in accordance with provided routes
- Driving to and from job sites
- Work under occasional tension or pressure
- Work independently
- Frequent and prolonged walking, standing, sitting, and stooping
- Respond to life threatening or emergency situations
This Unique Opportunity Requires:
- Valid Security Guard License
- U.S. Citizenship
- Valid Drivers License
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Own a smart phone with internet access
